Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Gross, 91 of Martins Ferry passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, in the Peterson Rehabilitation Center. She was born on August 13, 1932, in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Taylor) Slatterick. Betty was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. She taught music at both St. Joseph and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Churches and was the choir director for many years at St. Anthony of Padua and later at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Churches. Betty also sang for many weddings across the Ohio Valley.

She is survived by her three sons, Gary (Nancy) Gross, Charlie Gross, and Glenn (Connie) Gross; a brother, Charles (Carol) Slatterick; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nelson Gross in 2015; and a sister, Mary Lou Cope.

Friends may call Tuesday, from 2-6 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held Wednesday at 10 am in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 68210 Neola Ave, Bridgeport, Father John Mucha officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
