Elizabeth A. (Freeland) Bartok's Obituary
Elizabeth A. (Freeland) Bartok, of St. Clairsville, OH, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Forest Hill Retirement Community in her 97th year. She was born in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Oliver and Gertrude (Niggemyer) Freeland.
She was retired from the former Gordon Brothers C.P.A. of Wheeling and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. Bartok, sisters; Gertrude Freeland and Catherine Waller and brothers; Oliver , Francis, James and Lawrence Freeland.
Surviving are eleven nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held with Fr. Tom Marut officiating with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
A memorial mass will be held at a later date at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 20 N. 4th St., Martins Ferry, OH 43935.
