Elizabeth Marcus 97, of Wheeling formerly of Dillonvale, died Thursday April 16, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born February 23, 1923 in Connersville, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Kovach) Bene.

Elizabeth was a homemaker and a Presbyterian by faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded by 1st Husband John Strizak, and her 2nd Husband James Marcus, also her siblings Dorothy Murral, Helen Bene, and Steve Bene.

Elizabeth is survived by a nephew Lynn (Cathy) Murral of Rices Landing, PA, and a niece Cheryl (Kerry) Ketner of Dallas, TX, a sister Erma Wakim of Wheeling, also several Great Nieces and Nephews.

Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association PO Box 15829 Arlington, VA 22215.
