Obituary

PREZBESKI, Elizabeth Sokoll, 98, of Dillonvale, Ohio, died Thursday November 4, 2010 at her home. She was born in Blainsville, Ohio on December 13, 1910, a daughter of the late Frank and Lottie Pesta Sokoll. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Felix B. Prezbeski; brothers: Frank and Eugene Sokoll; sisters: Agnes King, Stella Zerla, Mary Ann Azallion, Amelia and Marguerite Sokoll, Cecelia Wease, Clara McCombs, and Helen Baker. Elizabeth obtained her Registered Nurses degree from Ohio Valley General Hospital in 1933; was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church; a member of the Dillonvale American Legion Post #529, and a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII serving as a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy Nurse Corp. Elizabeth is survived by three brothers: Richard, William and Dr. Martin Sokoll; and numerous nieces, nephews and loving caregivers. Friends will be received Sunday, November 8, 2010 at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, Ohio from 12 noon until the time of services at 2:00 p.m. with Monsignor John C. Kolesar, officiating. Military Honors will be provided at the funeral home by the Dillonvale American Legion, Post #529. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Memorial Contributions may be made to: Dillonvale American Legion, McCook Post #529, P.O.
