Ellen M. (Walker) Woods, 95, of Bellaire, OH, formerly of Mercer Rd., St. Clairsville, OH died Tues., Mar. 29, 2005 at Country Club Retirement Center, Bellaire. She was born Mar. 23, 1910 in Colerain, OH a daughter of the late Ross L. and Sarah M. (Maule) Walker. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove U. Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert M. Woods, a son Robert Woods, a granddaughter Cathy Lynn Woods, three brothers Herbert D., James M., and Joel Walker, and a sister Anna Spoon. Surviving are a son Nelson Woods of Akron, OH, two daughters Jean Worthington of St., Clairsville and Eileen Johnston of Detroit, MI, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Friday, April 1, 2005 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Van D. Fisher officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
