Elmer R. "Dick" Kuthy, 71 of Belmont, Ohio, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011, at Barnesville Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born January 2, 1940 in Bethesda, Ohio to Elmer R. Kuthy and Fayree Lucas Kuthy.
Dick, a life resident of Bethesda, Ohio, graduated from Barnesville High School in 1958. He was the owner and operator of Barkcamp Trading Post for 32 years. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and archery. He was a member of the Bethesda Sportsman Club.
Dick is survived by his wife, Madelyn Kuthy of the home; daughter, Karen Davis; sons, Richard W. (Sherri) Kuthy, John (Ellinda) Moss, and Jim (Dawn) Moss; brothers, Jerry (Ila) Kuthy and Skip (Lori) Kuthy; sisters, Donna Baker and Janet (Arnie) Wilson; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Family and friends may call Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Pastor Brian Bee will be officiating. Interment will follow at Bethesda Methodist Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio.
