Elsie Karen Padgelek, 71, of Tiltonsville, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital.  She was born on November 2, 1949 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Cecil and Mildred (Parsons) Winters.  She was employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield for over 30 years, was a Methodist by faith, and loved listening to 'oldies' music. In addition to her parents, Karen, as she was widely known, was preceded in death by her brother Norman Winters and sister Priscilla Wear.  She is survived by her husband Ben Padgelek; a daughter Kerri (Brad) Simpson; son Brian Padgelek; sister Sara Jane (Jim) Rinehart; beloved grandchildren McKenzie Gould, and Adeline and Myles Simpson. Friends and family will be received Friday from 10 am to 12 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home - Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 12 pm in the funeral home, with Reverend James Hoff officiating.  Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
