Emma M. (Kirr) Smith, 62, of Martins Ferry, OH died Friday, July 8, 2016 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born July 28, 1953 in Chicago, IL a daughter of the late Frederick Kirr, Sr. and Shirley C. (Bennett) Kirr. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William T. Smith, Jr. Surviving are her a children; Jennifer (Jerry Kelly) Smith and Jeffrey Smith all of Bridgeport, OH, step-daughter, Rebecca Jo (Chris) Ferrell of Mansfield, OH, brother, Frederick Kirr, Jr. of Washington, PA, Sherie Hammerquist of Martins Ferry and five grandchildren.
