Ernest A. Fiutem, 83, of St. Clairsville, OH, formerly of Walnut St., Bridgeport, OH, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007 at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville. He was born Jan. 4, 1924 in Maynard, OH a son of the late Celeste and Virginia (Jeri) Fiutem. He retired from the former Peoples Bank of Wheeling, WV. Ernest was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Wolfhurst, OH and the Knights of St. George. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Albert J. "Fuzz" Fiutem and his sister Catherine Fiutem. Surviving are his sister-in-law Martha Fiutem of St. Clairsville, two nephews Jerry (Kathy) Fiutem of Colerain, OH and Richard (Caroline) Fiutem of Harrison, OH, three great nieces, a great nephew, and a great great nephew. Friends will be received Tuesday, August 21, 2007, 4:00 p.m. until time of Wake Services at 6:00 p.m., at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH, with Rev. Thomas A. Magary officiating. Entombment will be at the convenience of the family in Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove, OH.
