MRUZEK, Ernest William Jr., 82, of Rayland, Ohio, died Friday February 6, 2009 at home. He was born in Lansing, Ohio on February 3, 1927, a son of the late Ernest William Mruzek Sr. and Elsie Mae Morgan Mruzek. Ernest was a retired employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp.; a U.S. Army Veteran and a Catholic by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Ella Mruzek. Ernest is survived by a daughter, Lisa Owens and her husband Gregory of Rayland; a son, Ernest W. Mruzek III and his wife Beth of Bristow, VA., six sisters: Norma Fatula (George) of Bridgeport, Donna Smith of Columbus, Ohio, Mary Ann Purpura (James) of Canton, Mich., Shirley Gibbons of Maynard, Ohio, Sandra Rhodes of Bridgeport and Sharon Baker (Jim) of Belmont, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held Tuesday February 10, 2009 at 12 noon with the Reverend Dan Huesel, officiating.
