Ernest R. Rice, Jr. Ernest Ray Rice, Jr., 51 of Rice Rd., Martins Ferry, OH died Mon., Sept. 30, 2002 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born Nov. 16, 1950 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Ernest Ray, Sr., and Mureldine (Alltop) Rice. He was a self-employed painter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Jessie Marie Knepper and Betty Lucille Rice. Surviving are a son Cotey Ethan Rice, a daughter Amanda Rae Rice both of New Martinsville, WV, two brothers Paul Rice and his wife Mary Ann, and Larry L. Rice and his wife Tammy both of Martins Ferry, two sisters Leona Kay Rice of Bridgeport and Rena Bauer and her husband Rudy of IL.
