Estella A. (Martinella) Marchio, 91, of N. 9th St., Martins Ferry, OH died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007 at Country Club Retirement Center, Bellaire, OH. She was born in Bellaire, OH a daughter of the late Nick and Mary (D'Accione) Martinella. She was an employee of the former Wheeling Stogie Factory, and retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Martins Ferry Plant and a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother John Martinella. Surviving are her husband of sixty years Albert Marchio, a sister Angela Distefano of Silver Spring, MD, four nieces Mary Jane (Rick) Blake and Cindy (Tom)Tribett both of McMechen, WV, Betty (Virgil) Wright and Gloria (Dick) Berher both of Rockville, MD and other nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday 1-3 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Monday Dec. 10, 2007 at 1:30 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Rev. Thomas A. Magary officiating. Entombment follows in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, Bellaire, OH. Rosary devotions will be recited Sunday at 2 pm followed by Wake services at 7:30 pm both in the funeral home.
