Esther L. Heskett, 91, of Hemingway, South Carolina and formerly of Bethesda, Ohio, died February 26, 2015 at Tidelands Community Hospice House in Georgetown, South Carolina. She was born August 19, 1923 in Bethesda, Ohio, daughter of the late John V. Marmie and Rose Phillips Marmie. Esther was a homemaker and was a very devoted mother and grandmother. She lived in Bethesda until 2000, at which time she moved to Hemingway, South Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Heskett and brother, Donald Marmie. Esther is survived by her son, Gary (Barbara) Heskett of Hemingway, South Carolina; daughter, Karen Flaherty of Barnesville, Ohio; grandchildren, Dawn (Glen) Snyder of Bloomingdale, Ohio and Kent Beck of Barnesville, Ohio; and numerous great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be conducted, Thursday at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio.
