Esther Marsili Panepucci, 88 of Dillonvale, passed peacefully in her sleep on Sunday January 24, 2016 at the home of her daughter Toni in Mingo Junction. She was born February 18, 1927 in Nowrytown, PA, the daughter of the late Sesto and Emma (Vitali) Marsili. Esther was retired from the Dillonvale Postal Service, a member of the Dillonvale American Legion Auxillary, the Dillonvale Eagles, the CSA Lounge, and a honorary member of the Dillonvale Fire Dept. She also loved to bake. Her specialties included biscottis and coconut macaroon cookies. In her younger years, Esther loved to travel with her sister "Tillie" to bowling tournaments. One of their favorite locations was Las Vegas. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She cherished the rest of her family, and all those who kept in touch over the years stopping over for cookies and coffee and maybe a sandwich. She will be sincerely missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dante Panepucci, two sisters Ann Stopski and Matilda Nidle, and a brother Enio Marsili. Esther is survived by a son Michael Panepucci (Sandy Meador of Beckley, WV) of Dillonvale, two daughters Toni (John) Granatir of Mingo Junction, and Lita (Francsico) Rosario of Austin, TX, a brother Clemente (Betty) Marsili of Brilliant.
