Esther R. Myers Esther R. Reese Myers, 98 of Pearl St., Martins Ferry, OH, died Tues. Mar. 26, 2002 at Buffalo Hospital, Buffalo MN. She was born Aug. 31, 1903 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Mathis Reese. She was formerly employed at the Martins Ferry Post Office, the Martins Ferry Health Dept., and the former Snodgrass Tours as a Tour Escort, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wilfred D. Myers, a brother Robert Reese, a sister Gertrude Schenerlein, a brother-in-law Charles "Buss" Schenerlein, David Butler, and a nephew Bob Schenerlein. Surviving are a sister Tootie Reese of Buffalo, MN, three nieces Marilyn Bullock and her husband David of Buffalo, MN, Marylou Swedberg and her husband Joel of Howard Lake, MN, and Nancy Butler of Plantation, FL, a nephew Mark Riethmiller and his wife Lucy of Plymouth, MN, several great nieces and great nephews. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, Tues. 4-8 PM where services will be held Wed. at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
