Ethel L. (Bennett) Jaworski, 86, of N. 4th St., Martins Ferry, OH formerly of N. Zane Highway, Martins Ferry died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born Oct. 19, 1921 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Chester and Anna (McDonald) Bennett. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Tony Jaworski, and four sisters Emma, Elinor, Ella, and Ina. Surviving are three sons Anthony Jaworski of Martins Ferry, Allen (Sandy) Jaworski of Bridgeport, OH and Rick (Rhonda) Jaworski of Colerain, OH, a brother Edward Bennett of Martins Ferry, and eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday, 4-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Friday, August 22, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Thomas A. Magary officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
