Ethel J. (Cika) McDiffitt, 94, of Martins Ferry, OH died April 15, 2014. She was born Oct. 15, 1919 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late John and Emerencia (Kadi) Cika. She was retired from the Altman Hospital, Canton, OH. Ethel was a Methodist by faith and a member of the Seniors Citizens of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands; Clarence Hope and William F. McDiffitt, brothers; Ernie, John and Frank Cika, sisters; Emma Koontz Erma Best and Elaine Vargo. Surviving are her sisters; Edna Kenzora of Cleveland, OH and Irene Dobbs of Bridgeport, OH. Private graveside services will be held at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry with Rev. Van D. Fisher officiating.
