Ethel Ann Szilagyi 92, of Sunset Heights Bridgeport died Wednesday January 26, 2011 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. She was born September 11, 1918 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Peter and Ethel Sweden. She was preceded in death by her husband Alex A. Szilagyi in 2005, a son Alex Szilagyi in 2006, seven brothers Alex, Charlie, John, Pete, Mike, Steve, and Don Sweden, a sister Mary Nagy. Ethel is survived by two daughters Emily Dunfee and her husband Curtis of Bellaire, and Lyn Kanoski and her husband Mike of Smithfield, seven grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Friday 4-7 pm, where services will be held Saturday January 29, 2011 at 11 am with the Rev.
