Eugene E. Lemasters Sr. 82 of Bridgeport died Saturday May 21, 2011 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. He was born August 15, 1928 in Cameron WV. A son of the late Wyle E. and Alvena Sidell Lemasters. He was a retired self employed mechanic for Maroon Enterprise, and a veteran of WWII in the 82nd Airborne Division. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Marie Shoemaker Lemasters seven brothers Burley, Doyle, William, Wilbert, Sherman, Lee, and Earl Lemasters. Gene is survived by four sons Eugene E. Jr. (Nancy) and Dennis (Mary) Lemasters both of Bridgeport, Robert (JoAnn) Lemasters of Zanesville, William (Linda) Lemasters of Moundsville, and Danny Lemasters of Triadelphia, WV., a daughter Donna Ratcliff of Shadyside, three brothers Howard (Theresa) Lemasters of Barnesville, James (Lorna) Lemasters of McMechen, Robert (Fran) Lemasters of SC, two sisters Dora Perison of Warren Ohio, and Rose (Jim) Riggs of Wheeling, nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. There will be a graveside service at Linwood Cemetery Blaine on Saturday May 28, 2011 at 2 pm with the Rev. James Hoff officiating.
