Eva E. (Buffington) Neal, 94, of Ohio Ave., Martins Ferry, OH died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008 at home. She was born Oct. 19, 1913 in Pomeroy, OH the daughter of the late Franklin P. and Zula (Salyers) Buffington. She was formerly a proof reader for the Wheeling News Register and the retired Director of Volunteers for East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. Eva was a member of the Colerain Presbyterian Church, Colerain. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband Donald E. Neal. Surviving are four sons Millard L. Neal of Belmont, Don M. Neal of St. Louis, MO, Bruce A. (Sheryl) Neal of Grove City, OH and Douglas C. Neal of Colerain, OH, 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
