Eva P. (Orend) Provezis, 87, of Palmetto, FL, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH, died Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Tidewell Hospice, Bradenton, FL. She was born Sept. 2, 1927 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late John and Katherine (Klusch) Orend. Eva was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Nick Provezis who died March 28, 2015, her son, Tom N. Provezis, sisters; Elsie Nemeti and Elizabeth Orend and brothers; John Orend, Jr., William Orend and Henry Orend. Surviving are her daughter, Kay Ann (Bruce) Bennington of Bradenton, FL, grandchildren; Tomma Wells, Vance (Sharon) Rine, Tara Carpenter, Aimee Rine, Staci (Jad Smith) Provezis, Nickol (Corey) Guadino and Tom Provezis, eleven great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Thursday 2-8 pm where services will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 at 11:00 am with Pastor Philip VanDam officiating.
