Eva Lazor Vadasz, 91, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed Thursday December 17, 2015 at Trinity East. She was born in Canonsburg, PA, on February 26, 1924, a daughter of the late John and Mary Kirr Lazor. Eva was the manager of Hills Elementary School Cafeteria for 27 years, and an active member of St. Andrew Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Lester Vadasz, a son Mark Vadasz and several brothers and sisters. Eva is survived by a son Frank Vadasz; daughters: Leslie (Michael) Gilson both of Mingo Junction, JoAnn McCullough of Gastonia, NC, a brother Theodore Lazor of Canonsburg; grandchildren: Michael Gilson Jr. and husband Tommy Firesheets; Eva Gilson, Corey (Lori) Vadasz, Matt and Keith McCullough; six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday 5 to 7 p.m. at Blaschalk-Wilson Funeral Home, 115 Union Avenue, Mingo Junction, Ohio. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated Monday December 21, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Church, Mingo Junction, with the Very Reverend John S. Kopcha officiating.
