EVALEEN B. SHIPLEY

Evaleen B. Shipley, 96, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Emerald Pointe Health and Rehab Center.  She was born October 14, 1924, daughter of the late Earl and Erma (Hamilton) Brooks.

She was a member of the East Main Street Church of Christ in Barnesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two-year old brother, George Henry Brooks; husband, Orville L. Shipley; and son, Larry Brooks Shipley.  Mrs. Shipley also leaves behind two daughters, Mrs. Diane Allen (Jeff) of Cambridge, Mrs. Joyce Reynolds (Roger) of Hendrysburg; and her best friend, Frank Brock of Bethesda.  She also leaves nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, Barnesville, on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 3:30 PM.  Friends may call from 2:30 to 3:30 PM.  Val Roxby will be officiating.  Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery.
