On June 06, 2010 Evelyn J. Conaway and Jack S. Conaway were united again. Evelyn 82 of Lansing Died at Liza's Place, Valley Hospice Center South in Wheeling. She was born June 19, 1927 in Maynard, a daughter of the late Edward D. and Hazel (Coates) Karel. She was a housewife and a part time employee of Uniforms Unlimited in Bridgeport and a member of the Lansing United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jack S. Conaway in 2004. Evelyn is survived by her children Jon Conaway and his wife Velma, Jeri DeFelice and her husband Dave both of Bellaire, Jeff Conaway and Jacci Conaway-Clark both of Lansing, and Jill Kroflich and her husband Joe of Yorkville, a sister Geraldine Ehni Munn, seven grandchildren Dean and Todd Burk, David and Jacqueline DeFelice, Jeremy Pasztor, Kristen Kroflich, and Virginia Conaway, seven great grandchildren Gage Blon, Lilith Heartline, Deea Burk, Solara Pasztor, Dino Burk, De'Ja and Danica DeFelice, several nieces and nephews, and her feline companions Smokie and Jasper. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Thursday June 10, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 and then on Friday from 11am till time of service at 1 pm with Pastors Lisa Bolton and Chris Green officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
