TOGETHER AGAIN:

Evelyn D. Miller 96, of St. Clairsville formerly of Colerain, passed away Tuesday March 5, 2024, at Forest Hill Retirement Center St. Clairsville. She was born August 26, 1927, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Pete and Justina (Lander) Kain.

Evelyn was a lifelong member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, the W.E.L.C.A., the Lutheran Women's League, Past Matron of the OES #452, a Choir Member and Sunday School Teacher of the Church, also the Auxiliary of the VFW, and a graduate of Bridgeport High School class of 1944.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband John Miller, brother James Kain, sister Ruth Ann Logston, two daughters Carolyn Lee Lekien, and Shirley Ann Ross, and a grandson Norman Lekien, a daughter-in-law Paulette Miller, and a son-in-law Harry Lekien.

Evelyn is survived by her sons Jeffery L. (Lori) Miller, Gregory E. (Nancy) Miller, and Daryl L. Miller, a sister Penny Sue Cornwell, 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Sunday from 12 noon till 6 pm. Then on Monday from 11 am till time of service at 12 noon at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Nancy DeStefano officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
