Evelyn J. (Monahan) Bishop Moore, 71, of Rose Ln., Martins Ferry, OH died Monday, Apr. 27, 2009 at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH. She was born Jun. 26, 1937 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Wayne J. and Katherine (Herr) Monahan. She was a retired registered nurse for East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, and a member of the First Christian Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Edward E. Bishop, Jr. Surviving are her husband Thomas D. Moore, three sons Wayne E. (Donna) Bishop of Barton, OH, David (Mindi) Moore of Shadyside, OH, and Darin Moore of Martins Ferry, two daughters Kay Ann (Robin) Sever of Pickerington, OH, and Cindy (David) McCartney of Delaware, OH, two brothers W. Gordon (Nancy) Monahan of South Point, NC, and William J. Monahan of Martins Ferry, and two grandchildren Logan Sever and Grayson McCartney. Friends will be received Wednesday, 6-8 pm and Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Friends will then be received Friday, May 1, 2009, from 11 am until time of services at 1:00 pm at the First Christian Church, 710 S. Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry with Minister Rod Kasler officiating.
