Evelyn R. Tuttle, 82, of Bridgeport, died Saturday November 7, 2009 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born January 5, 1927 in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Habeeb M. and Zaney Ferris Raies. Evelyn was a member of the Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, a retired dispatcher for the Village of Bridgeport and a retired employee of the Bridgeport Exempted School District. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Evelyn is survived by her husband, Larry Tuttle, a son, Pat Tuttle and his fiancé Sabrina Adler of Columbus, three daughters; Jo Elaine Smith of Arlington, Va, Pamela Loftis and her husband Scott of Petaluma, Ca, Dianne Leigh Tuttle of Bridgeport, a brother James Raies and his wife Elaine of Portsmouth, Oh, two sisters, Mary Chambliss of Bend, Or, Ellen Wakulchik of Brookside, eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside and on Wednesday from 10 till time of service at 11 am at the Kirkwood Presbyterian Church with Rev. David Demarest officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Kirkwood Presbyterian Church.
