Florence M. (Edmundson) Moore, 87, of Washington Ave., Wheeling, WV, formerly of N. Lincoln Ave., Bridgeport, OH, died Monday, Jun. 2, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. She was born Apr. 22, 1921 in Bridgeport, OH a daughter of the late Thomas W. and Elizabeth (Hildebrand) Edmundson. As Flo ended her life on earth, she made her grand entrance into eternity with her Lord. She was surrounded by family and friends as she exited the wonderful life she had on this earth. Florence was a beautiful woman both inside and out as she shared her love, grace, and kindness with all who knew her. She was a giving lady who would give her last quarter if you needed it. Florence was an "at home" Mom and wife for many years sharing a loving telephone ministry, extending encouragement, and care to all. Each person in her life was made to realize how special they were to her. She will be sadly missed by the many people that were blessed by her life and presence. Florence worked with the former Noelle's Candy Store of Wheeling Island and was fondly known as "Grandma Sugar" by her grandchildren. She was a member of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship ofWheeling. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Arthur McDonald, her second husband Robert J. "Bud" Moore, two brothers Thomas and Orville Edmundson, and three sisters Georgeanne Greenwell, Mary Ellen Robinson and June Wacker. Surviving are her daughter Judith A. (McDonald) Hall of Wheeling, a son Michael Edmundson of Westerville, OH, six grandchildren David A. (Hida) Hall, R. Justin Hall, Natalie (David) Perko, Gretchen (Zach) Taylor, and MaryBeth and Ann Marie Edmundson, and five great grandchildren Adam, Helen and Seth Perko, and Liam and Logan Hall. Friends will be received Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 11:00 am with Rev. John Razz officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
