HICKS, Florence W. Jeffers, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, died Friday January 7, 2011 at home. She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on January 5, 1925, a daughter of the late Thomas and Winifred Bethel Jeffers; and also preceded by three sisters. Florence was a retired LPN from Bellaire Clinic; and a member of Victory Baptist Chapel, St. Clairsville. Florence is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Willard Hicks; two daughters: Judy Martin (Carl) of Dunbar, W.Va., Kathy Stone (Scott) of Cambridge, Ohio; two sisters: Bertha Jeffers of North Olmstead, Ohio and Sue Perkins of Las Vegas, NV.; two grandchildren: Ryan Mourer and Kara Martin. Friends will be received Monday 5-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, Ohio, where services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Murry Stafford, officiating.
