Florence T. (Motto) Ontko, 90, of Martins Ferry, OH, and formerly of Toronto, OH died Wednesday Jan. 26, 2011 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry. She was born Sept. 25, 1920 in Pottsville, PA a daughter of the late George and Anna (Shargo) Motto. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Toronto. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George Ontko, five brothers Lawrence, George, Steve, Martin, and Vincent Motto, and a sister Mary M. Ontko. Surviving are two sons Joseph (Sherry) Ontko of Colerain, and George (Susan) Ontko of Virginia Beach, VA, a brother Phillip Motto of Toronto, two sisters Margaret Porter of Brilliant, OH, and Dorothy Toucher of Coraopolis, PA, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday 6-9 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011 at 11:00 am with Rev. Tom Marut officiating.
