Frances Louise Boyd 71, of Mt. Pleasant went to be with the Lord on Saturday November 2, 2013 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 13, 1942 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Forrest and Ora (Starcher) Burkhead. She was a retired secretary for Carson Petroleum Mt. Pleasant. Louise attended Mt. Pleasant Friends Church; she was the president of United USBC Women's Bowling Association, and a member of Bordas and Bordas Bowling League In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Everett Burkhead. Louise is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Carl J. "Buck" Boyd, daughters Debbie (Denny) Walker of Mt. Pleasant, Cindy (Dino) Iadanza of Dillonvale, and Becky (Scott) Hazelton of Harrisville, grandchildren; Ashley (J.J.) Kniszek, Josh Cichon, Bo Walker, and Samuel Hazelton, a sister Carol Sefsick of Adena, a sister-in-law Mildred Burkhead of Emerson, and her four legged Little Girl "Shawnee Sioux".
