Frances "Rose" Rigas, 78, of Martins Ferry, died Thursday, March 14, 2019, at her home.

She was born June 11, 1940 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Clyde F. and Emma (Griffin) McConnell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Rigas, and her brother, Clyde McConnell, Jr. Rose was a member of the New Life United Methodist Church, Wheeling, WV.

Surviving are her children, Barry L. White of Martins Ferry, and Barbara (Ronald) Vargo of Wheeling, WV, her sister, Shirley (Rick) Main; 4 grandchildren, Luke (Aimee) White, Justin Vargo, R. J. Vargo (Alyssa Simmons), and Christifer Vargo, and 2 great grandchildren, Noah and Sophia and long-time friends, Margie and James..

Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
