Mihelcic, Frances J. 87, of Bridgeport, Ohio, formerly of Blaine, Ohio died December 21, 2013 at her the home of her sister. She was born January 18, 1926 in Blaine, a daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Widmor) Mihelcic. She retired after 47 years of service with the Dept. of Health and Human Resources in St. Clairsville, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, the Catholic Daughters St. Anthony's Court #1414 of the Church, the SNPJ Lodge, and the American Catholic Union. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother John Mihelcic, and a sister Mary Klotz. Frances is survived by her sister Margret Jastrebski of Bridgeport, a nephew John Mihelcic Jr. of Lansing, nieces Mary (Anthony) Cappucci of Massachusetts, Judy (Duane) Kesterson of Bridgeport, Barbie (Bob) Hartzel of Kansas, and Dianne Carney of Dayton. Frances is also survived by great nieces and nephews, Shawn and Brian Hartzel, Tiffany Ybarra, Erin Agree, Christine Mihelcic, Charity Hollingshead her caregiver, and Donald VanFossen, also many great-great nieces, and nephews. Friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Thursday December 26, 2013 from 2-6 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, with Fr. John Mucha as Celebrant, interment in St. Anthony's Cemetery Blaine.
