Frances M. (Grimm) Reed, 100, of Bridgeport, OH passed away at Heartland Nursing Home on December 1, 2016. She was born June 2, 1916, in Farmington, WV, a daughter of the late William and Olive (Heron) Grimm. She was a retired machine shop operator for Marsh Wheeling Stogies, and a member of the Island Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Buss Reed in 1988; her brother, Wiley Grimm and sister-in-law Becky Grimm. Frances is survived by her son, Robert (Diane) Reed, Sr. of Columbus, OH; daughter Helen (Roy) Millhouse of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren, Robert R. Reed Jr, Robin Reed, and Richie R. Reed; great-grandchildren Riley and River Reed; 6 nieces including her caregiver, Shirley Oliver, and 2 nephews. Friends will be received Friday December 2, from 4-8p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912 where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11a.m., with Pastor Judy Bennett officiating. Entombment to follow at Parkview Memorial Gardens, Wheeling, WV.
