Francis D. "Frank" Lanch, 94, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday July 24, 2017 at Forest Hills Nursing Home St. Clairsville, Ohio. He was born May 19, 1923 in Benwood, WV, a son of the late Vincent and Mary (Patrone) Lancia.

He was retired from B&O Railroad, a member of the Meadowbrook Church of God, and Veteran of WWII in the US Army.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Betty J. Lanch, brothers John, Lawrence, Arthur, and Thomas Lancia, a sister Louise Bryant.

Frank is survived by a son David (Debbie) Lanch of Zanesville, and a daughter Tina Papp of New Philadelphia, 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

Private Service and interment will be held at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Assisting the Family.
