Francis "Frank" Linden McBride, 79, of Bridgeport, Ohio, passed Saturday August 29, 2015 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born in Wheeling, WV on June 22, 1936, a son of the late Howard Byrnes and Kathryn McBride. He was a retired Mail Carrier of the U.S. Postal Service; a member of Faith Fellowship Church, Bellaire; and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Rose Marie Coble. Francis is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Helen Joyce (Bleen) McBride; a sister Jackie (Mike) VanNest of Piedmont, OH.; a daughter Sherri (Patrick) Flock of Canonsburg, PA., a son Sean McBride of Pittsburgh; grandchildren: Stephanie Nardone; Danielle Jeffers; great-grandchildren: Brianne Kelley; Noelle Jeffers. Friends will be received Wednesday 1-3 and 5-7 at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held Thursday September 3, 2015 at 10:00 am. with Pastor Bill Marinelli. Military Honors provided by Belmont County Veterans Association at the funeral home at 9:45 am. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
