Francis L. Lucas, 75, of Morristown, Ohio, died Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Barnesville Hospital. He was born August 26, 1939 in Barnesville, Ohio, son of the late Chester E. Lucas and Marguerite Carpenter. He was a retired truck driver from Ohio River Colleries and Yockey Trucking. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Melvin D. Lucas and sister, Jennie Allar. Francis is survived by his wife of 54 years, Edna Lucas of Morristown; daughters, Sheri (Dennis) Nardo of Belmont, Melissa Lucas of Bethesda; sons, Rick Huntsman of Jeromesvlle, J.R. Lucas of Bethesda; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Catherine Carpenter and Shirley Baker both of Barnesville; and brother, Randall (Anita) Lucas of Barnesville. Family and friends will be welcome to visit, Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of service beginning at 7 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home & Crematory, 204 Main Street, Morristown, Ohio.
