FRANK "DOC" BISHOP, JR., 59, of Rustic Dr., St. Clairsville, died Monday, in Columbus, Ohio. Doc was the son of the late Frank Bishop Sr. and Marcella (Zitzelberger) Bishop. He retired from the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Yorkville Plant after 34 years. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War and a member of Yorkville VFW. He was preceded in death by a daughter Amy Bishop. Doc is survived by a son Jason Bishop of Boston, MA; his girlfriend Lisa Carlo, of Boston, MA; a step son Gary Motto of Columbus, OH; ex wife Sherry Bishop Dubil and her mother Ann Ickler, both of Lansing, OH. Visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside on Friday from 10 am until the time of his funeral services at 1 pm with Father John Mucha officiating. The Yorkville VFW will conduct military services Friday at 1 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Anthony Cemetery, Blaine.
