Frank Greco, Jr., 84, of Pearl St., Martins Ferry, OH died Monday, Apr. 28, 2008 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. He was born Feb. 26, 1924 in Waynesburg, PA a son of the late Frank Greco, Sr. and Mary (Marchio) Greco. He was a retired salesman for Valley Distributors. Frank was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Italian-American Club both of Martins Ferry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Martha (Szymanek) Greco, four brothers Dominic, Steve, Fred and Louie Greco, and four sisters Mamie Weibel, Violet Laposki, Rose Greco and Margaret Staub. Surviving are a daughter Marlene Greco of Martins Ferry, a son Larry Greco of Martins Ferry, and two granddaughters Leigh Ann LaHood of Washington, DC and Megan LaHood of Saratoga, NY. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 5-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Rev. Thomas A. Magary officiating. Burial follows in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling. Rosary devotions will be recited Wednesday at 3:00 pm followed by Wake services at 7:30 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 20 N. 4th St., Martins Ferry, OH 43935 or Good Shepherd Nursing Home, 159 Edgington Ln., Wheeling, WV 26003 in appreciation of Sister Kathleen.
