Obituary

Frank A. Kogut 85, of St. Clairsville formally of Wheeling, passed away peacefully Friday August 5, 2011 at Park Health Center St. Clairsville. He was born September 17, 1925 in Lansing, a son of the late Andrew and Barbara Wanic Kogut. He was a retired machinist for the former Blaw-Knox Factory Wheeling, a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church Wolfhurst, a member of the Musicians Union, and a veteran of the US Army in WW II. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother; John Kogut, three sisters; Mary Klish, Ann Yoblinski, and Lucille Brilski. Frank is survived by his loving wife; Stella (Stacy) Wolan Kogut, a sister; Irene Kreachbaum of Denver, Colorado, numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Tuesday August 9, 2011 from 2-8 pm. Where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst with Rev. John Mucha officiating. Interment in Linwood Cemetery Blaine. Wake service Tuesday at 2:30 pm at the Funeral Home. Full military services will held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice 10686 St. Rt. 150 Rayland, Ohio 43934.
