Frank Pagot, 97, of Lansing, Ohio, passed Tuesday November 3, 2015 at Forest Hills Retirement Community, St. Clairsville. He was born in Lansing on November 25, 1917, a son of the late Joe and Claudine (Vara) Pagot. Frank was a retired inspector with Picoma Industries; a member St. Joseph Catholic Church; Bridgeport Eagles; Sons of Italy, Bellaire; American Legion, Bellaire; Life Member of Lansing Sportsman's Club; VFW St. Clairsville; U.S. Navy Veteran; Lifelong member of the American Federation of Musicians, playing in many local bands in the Tri State area. He fell just short of his wish of being on the Smucker's Jar for his 100th birthday. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Amelia "Millie" (Klamut) Pagot, a son David Daniel Pagot, and a brother John Pagot. Frank is survived by a son, Joseph (Clara )Pagot of St. Clairsville; two daughters: Linda (William) Bella of Lansing and Claudia Pagot of Wheeling, WV.; grandchildren: Lisa (Allan) Dober, Rodney (Terri) Hammer, Wendy Pagot (Michael Gayvont), Jodi (Thomas) Kuzma, Matthew Pagot, Michael Pyle, Lauren Pyle, and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday November 6, 2015 from 9:00 until 11:15 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst, with Rev. John Mucha as celebrant. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Blaine, Ohio.
