Frank R. Patterson, 62, of N. 6th St., Martins Ferry, OH died Sunday, June 29, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born Aug. 3, 1945 in Martins Ferry a son of the late James A. and Hilda (Darby) Patterson. He was retired from the Steubenville Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and a veteran of the US Army Vietnam War. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Angel Patterson, five brothers James A., Harold, George, Bill, and Ronald Patterson, and three sisters Elizabeth Baker, Ruth Ann Malatesta, and Pat Patterson. Surviving are three brothers Donald A. (Stella) Patterson, Gary W. (Pam) Patterson, Sr., and Gordon L. (Cindy) Patterson all of Martins Ferry and a sister Barbara Jean Patterson, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. A celebration of Frank's life will be held Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 1:00 pm at the Alert Engine Co., 201 N. Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry.
