Freda Nieman, 93, formerly of N. Eighth St., Martins Ferry, OH died Sun., Oct. 17, 2004 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry. She was born Feb. 23, 1911 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late John and Mary (Snyder) Nieman, Sr. She was a Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers William, Harry "Peto", and John "Chap" Nieman and two sisters Margaret and Kathryn Nieman. Surviving are a brother R. Ben Nieman of Martins Ferry and a sister Laura Tennyson of Bridgeport, two nieces Nancy Nieman and Joyce (Ron) Smith both of Martins Ferry, and a nephew Chuck (Nancy) Tennyson of Shadyside. Friends will be received Tues., 6 - 8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Wed., Oct. 20, 2004 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Roland Boggs officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH.
