Freda Mae Rushman-Rhodes, 88, of Bridgeport, OH, on August 1, 2015. The Guardian Angels came down to take her up to heaven to be with the Lord from Valley Hospice South, Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV. She was born in Benwood, WV on July 27, 1927, a daughter of the late William and Freda McNinch Mulvey. Freda was a retired employee of Heartland Lansing and Marx Toy Factory. She was a member of the Christian Church of Bellaire; Lady's Aux of DAV Bellaire; and the VFW Aux. of Bellaire. She was a caring person that loved to help everyone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Rushman and her second husband Wilbur T. Rhodes; a son Richard F. Rushman; a stepson Ron Rhodes and a sister Louise Fink. Freda is survived by daughters: Lucy (Bill) Forsch of Wheeling, Grace Michael of Bridgeport; step daughters: Wilma (Tom) Braden and Linda (Larry) Keegan; brothers: William J. Mulvey Jr. of FL., and Joseph (Caroline) Mulvey of PA; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 on Monday at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held Tuesday August 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Garloch officiating. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery, Wheeling. Memorial contributions may be made to either: Liza's Place or the Salvation Army.
