Freda L. (Walker) Bondy, 100, formerly of S. Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry, OH died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born April 8, 1912 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Meshach and Hannah (Siburt) Walker. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Albert R. Bondy, two sons; Clyde L. and John R. Bondy, three brothers; Harry L. Moore, Elza and Charles Walker, two sisters; Martha Harris and Margaret Walker, and a son-in-law Donald L. Stutz. Surviving are two daughters; Jackie Stutz of Kettering , OH, and JoAnn (Aurel) Muntean of Colerain, OH, daughter-in-law Mary R. Bondy of Alledonia, OH, ten grandchildren, twenty- two great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am with Minister Jeffrey Rich officiating at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH. Burial will follow at the Armstrong Cemetery, Armstrong Mills, OH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 306 Locust St., Martins Ferry, OH 43935.
