Fredie Strauss, 82, of Morristown, OH passed away Friday, August 19, 2011 at Barnesville Health Care Center. He was born July 2, 1929 in Belmont County OH, son of the late John and Rose Strauss. Fredie was a retired radio technician with the Ohio Department of Transportation and a member of Morristown Christian Church. He served his country in the US Army, during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sons, Jeffrey Strauss and John Strauss; three sisters; and one brother. Surviving is son, Fred Strauss of Morristown, OH; grandchildren, James, Jeffrey, John, Kimberly, and Kelly; and several great grandchildren. Family and friends may call Monday 5:00 to 8:00 PM, at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 204 Main Street, Morristown, Ohio. Services will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM, with Minister Curtis Hallstrom officiating. Interment will follow at Morristown Union Cemetery.
