Pomaranski, Friedericke "Frieda" 86, of Lansing died Tuesday December 17, 2013 at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville. She was born January 10, 1927 in Augsburg, Germany, a daughter of the late Fritz Mayer and Caecilia (Mayer) Lahner She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, and the CWC of the Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Stanley A. Pomaranski in 2002 and a son Stanley "Stush" Pomaranski, a brother Rudolph Mayer. Frieda is survived by her sons John J. (Nancy) Pomaranski of Woodbridge, Va., Carl R. (Barbara) Pomaranski of Lansing, a daughter Fritzi (James) Serafin of Alexandria, VA. Six grandchildren John Michael (Kirsti) Pomaranski, Kathleen (Rich) Terry, Thomas, Derek, Devin, and Lucas Pomaranski, two great grandchildren Ella Rose and Scott Thomas Pomaranski, a brother George (Sharon) Lahner of Calf. . Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Friday December 20, 2013 from 5 till 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, with Fr.
