G. Lorene Allar, 88, of Bethesda Ohio, passed away, Monday, June 10, 2024, at Belmont Manor. She was born on March 19th, 1936, the daughter of the late Oliver Allar and Grace Mcendree.

Lorene was a fascinating and loving woman. She enjoyed bird watching as a member of the National Audubon society, she loved animals, supported the Humane society, and was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Lorene worked as a government contractor and even worked with NASA on Apollo Missions 1-12.

In addition to her parents, Lorene was preceded in death by her brother Francis Allar.

Left to honor her memory is her brother Christopher; cousins Shirley Kucher and Linda Roby; nieces and nephews, Steve (Terri) Allar, Allen Allar, Nikki Allar, Lori Wilhoite, Terri (Brian) Miller, and Mary (chuck) Shunk. And of course, her three cats, Samantha, Little Dude and Max.

A graveside service followed by burial will be held at Ebenezer cemetery on Tuesday, June 18th at 11:00 am with pastor Tim Snyder officiating.
