G. Bernece (Meade) McCall, 87, of Martins Ferry, OH, formerly of St. Clairsville, OH died Monday, June 22, 2009 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martin Ferry. She was born June 18, 1922 in Crum, WV a daughter of the late Pyrus B. and Rose (Estep) Meade. She retired from the Fan Mail Department of Paramount Studios of California. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Francis Norman McCall, a son Michael McCall, two brothers Shelton & Charles Meade, and a sister Patricia Keen. Surviving are her son J. C. Norman McCall and his wife Christal of St. Clairsville, a grandson Jalen M. McCall, and three sisters Pauline Austin of Huntington, WV, Faye Dean of Tiffin, OH, and Rose West of Reno, NV. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Crooks Cemetery, Huntington, WV. Arrangements by Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH.
