Garland E. Freeman 67, of Blaine, passed away Sunday January 17, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born October 28, 1953 in Bellaire, a son of the late Nathan and Dorothy (Tschappat) Freeman. He was a retired employee of Murray Energy, and a catholic by faith. Garland is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Emilie (Koci) Freeman, his children Garland (Jennifer) Freeman of Burgettstown, PA, Bryan Freeman of Weirton, Katelyn Freeman and her fiancée David York of Lansing, his stepchildren Olivia (Josh) Bryniarski of St. Clairsville, and Matt (Julie) Murray of Powell, OH, 10 grandchildren, also his four-legged best friend "Bella". Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Thursday January 21, 2021 from 3-7 pm, with wake service to be recited at 3 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, with Fr. John Mucha and Fr. Robert Park as co-celebrants.
